Cameron University’s Visiting Writer Series will feature the work of Moira Crone at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 in CETES CCB.
Moira Crone is the recipient of the Robert Penn Warren Award from the Fellowship of Southern Writers. She is the author of four books of fiction, most recently WHAT GETS INTO US.
Her stories have been selected five times for New Stories from the South: The Year’s Best, and her works have appeared in the New Yorker, Oxford American, Image, and many other journals. For many years she directed the MFA Program at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Moira is a graduate of Johns Hopkins and Smith College. She currently teaches at Louisiana State University and lives in New Orleans.
