With Katie Gravitt from the Aggie Spirit Team
Katie Gavitt is a new face on the Cameron Cheer Team. Gravitt is a freshman majoring in Psychology with hopes of one day becoming a school counselor.
What led you to decide to come to Cameron?
I took some concurrent classes on the duncan campus, and I really just wanted to be close to home, and cameron is right around the corner.
Why do you want to be a counselor?
Because I love being around children, and my goal is to help as many as I can; even if its the smallest influence.
What makes you want to work with kids?
My sister had a baby when I was in fourth grade and then another shortly after. So, I was kind of in charge of babysitting them for a while, so I think that might be where it comes from.
